In 2005 I began my journey/calling of serving the community. I began a women‘s ministry called “Matters of the Heart“ which helped women for several years. My passion in 2005 was to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of women. This passion as well as the need for sound clinical training led me back to school, where I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My goal was to be a present source of support for women who were hurting.

Today, my support has expanded beyond women, to men, children, couples, and families alike. I became a registered play therapist, to aid me in supporting children using the language they understand, fun. It was my work with children at NYAP (National Youth Advocate Program), I realized the importance of becoming ”trauma informed.”
